Account Manager Position (Boston Area)
with Aspect Automation

 
 

 

Primary Objectives of This Position

To create and build client relationships while sponsoring interaction to obtain projects/bookings for Aspect Automation. Assist in developing and facilitating the proposal process for specific clients including budget and pricing development, proposals, and client presentations.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Research and development of potential clients in territory.
  • Client Relationships (building relationships with key decision makers).
  • Sales Communications, Proposals and Quotes
  • Business Support/Development.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least eight years of proven success working in sales in a similar industry (custom automated equipment or a custom engineered/manufactured product or service).
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Well developed presentation skills
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
  • Must be able to travel frequently (25-30%) by car and air, with occasional travel overseas.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous experience working within the special machine industry.
