Aspect’s Approach

Aspect’s EASE program provides a low-cost visit to your manufacturing facility to understand your current situation and the potential opportunities for improvement. Our multi-discipline team has expertise in machine design, controls, and process engineering. They will visit your site for up to a full day and:

• Gain an understanding of your process flow
• Help define your manufacturing challenges
  • What is happening that shouldn’t be?
  • What isn’t happening that should be?
  • How do expected results differ from actual results?
  • How do these deficiencies impact time, materials, labor, etc.?
• Dialogue and brainstorm
  • Identify possible causes of the problem
  • Discuss attempts to resolve the problem
  • Narrow the list of possible causes of the problem to the likely cause
• Prepare a detailed audit report that summarizes findings, including:
  • Potential hardware modifications or upgrades
  • Control system and software upgrades
  • Cost/benefit analysis to support budget and payback

Aspect can then implement the recommended changes, if desired, on a firm-fixed-price or time-and-materials effort, depending on the scope of work. For the majority of our clients, the combined cost of the program and the implementation of the upgrades will represent a small portion of the year-over-year savings to your organization. And these benefits will all be provided to you with EASE.
